Riot’s March 22 announcement places Worlds 2026 between October 15 and November 14 in the United States. The play-in is in Los Angeles, the middle stages are in Allen, Texas, and the final is in Brooklyn, New York. Those are tournament dates and locations, not a promise that your favourite team plays on any particular day. Start with the stage you want to follow, then open the official schedule for the actual pairing.

Convert a dated start time instead of applying one offset to the whole event.

It is frustrating to settle down for a big series and discover the opening game has already finished. A simple calendar habit prevents much of that disappointment: keep the organiser’s date and time zone alongside your local conversion. This event crosses several American cities, and seasonal clock changes can affect some viewers. A date without a starting time is not enough to calculate when you should turn on the stream.

Follow the map before the scoreboard

After a fight, look for the objective the winning team can actually take.

You do not need to memorise every champion to enjoy your first match. Choose one team and glance at its towers, gold and position on the small map. A dramatic fight matters more when it opens a route to an objective or the enemy base. If a team gets a kill but cannot move forward, ask what stopped it: distant teammates, low health or pressure elsewhere. That question makes the next minute easier to follow.

The change between games often explains more than a single highlight.

Try asking what each team changes after a loss. Does the next draft offer a different way to start fights, or does the team return to a familiar plan? Draft means the process of choosing and banning champions before a game. The exact rules belong to the event’s current rulebook; do not assume a previous year’s format still applies. Compare the plans you can observe, without turning a guess about private team discussions into a fact.

Build a viewing plan you can keep

One complete series and a short note can be more useful than scattered clips.

If you have limited time, pick a full series involving a team you want to understand. Keep one note after each game: the decisive objective, the position just before it, and the adjustment you expect next. Then test that expectation against the following game.
